Developing together

Zwaaiende kinderen - foto Wereldkinderen. Together4Change is made up of four organisations:

  • Wilde Ganzen (Wild Geese)
  • Wereldkinderen (NICWO)
  • SOS kinderdorpen (SOS Children's Villages)
  • Investing in Children and their Societies (ICS)

Together4Change sees collaboration as the optimal way to pool our strengths. Our consortium gives the highest priority to change being achieved by people and society themselves. Strengthening the local economy is also an important focus of attention if we are to improve the lives of young people and children.

By sharing knowledge in different fields we reach more people, and more people in developing countries get a helping hand towards a better life. So they can then develop themselves.

Vision

Throughout the world, people are able and willing to act in the interests of children. They take the initiative themselves to improve their own circumstances.

Mission

We inspire and motivate people and their organisations to take initiatives that lead to lasting social and economic change. Goal: to safeguard the welfare of children and adolescents.

Strategy

To invest in the social engagement of people in the areas of economic and social equality. People can themselves then address issues such as poverty, social exclusion, and children's and human rights. We do this by:

  • investing in social changes that are economically viable and initiated by the people themselves
  • stimulating economic activities that lead to long-term social and economic change
  • investing in social support and in measures to protect children and children's rights
